We are thrilled to announce that Brian DiFilippo has joined the VLS family as Counsel. Brian will be working in many different areas, including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), capital projects, litigation, corporate governance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

Brian comes to us from Sidley Austin, one of the top corporate/M&A law firms in the country, where his practice was focused on debt finance and M&A. Demonstrating a deep commitment to social responsibility, Brian has also dedicated his efforts to the non-profit and education sectors. Notably, he spearheaded a non-profit organization aimed at serving underserved communities through after-school squash programs. Moreover, he assumed a leadership role at an HISD middle school, all prior to law school.

Brian holds a BA from Baylor and a JD from the University of Texas. During his time at the University of Texas, he held the prestigious position of Managing Editor of the Texas Law Review. 

His multifaceted expertise and dedication to social causes align perfectly with our mission at VLS. Brian will make significant contributions to our efforts in delivering top-tier legal services with an emphasis on ESG principles. Welcome aboard, Brian!
